Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the capture manager, business development lead, proposal manager, and pricing team to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Architect, design, and develop comprehensive solutions that align with customer requirements and business goals.
  • Lead the technical proposal development process, including writing, reviewing, and refining technical solutions and approaches.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations to enhance existing systems architectures of the customers based on RFQ and/or RFI information.
  • Develop proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of proposed solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and meet the performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure solutions are innovative and cutting-edge.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to facilitate solution development and delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Develop a detailed basis of estimate for the RFQ and collaborate with pricing team to deliver pricing volume and associated rational.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, preferably within a government contracting environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, including scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Azure Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML model development process is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

 

Location:

  • Remote, with occasional travel as needed (up to 25%).

 

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
