Responsibilities

You will work with a fast paced agile team of professionals using your knowledge of software programs and business processes to help our teams maximize productivity and communication. Your role requires interacting with our end-users and developing product needs, working with our UX designers and Engineers to create or update software based on identified needs. You will work with the Product Manager to help develop product requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria while ensuring excellent communication of our artifacts. Overall, you will be expected to: 

 

  • Interact with the business organization representatives, including executive management, to understand and document business needs, pain points, and to distill business processes
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications leveraging user stories, acceptance criteria, and use of workflow management tools such as Microsoft Azure
  • Provide recommendations for the development, implementation, and sustainment of performance dashboards, and visualizations
  • Review and analyze data to develop derived business intelligence outputs to support decision making .
  • Provide support and recommendation for the development, management, and sustainment of performance measures, key performance indicators, and visualization of performance data.
  • Perform due diligence by carefully assessing associated costs and risks which could impact the project

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience as a business analyst working in agile software development with focus on developing requirements, documenting processes / workflows, facilitating user groups and training, writing user stories, and developing / executing test plans
  • Ability to effectively and confidently communicate complex concepts – in speaking and writing – with team members and all levels of technical and nontechnical customer stakeholders
  • Experience with dashboard and business intelligence tools, such as MicroStrategy preferred
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and peer management skills
  • Working knowledge of workflow and task management tools (JIRA and Confluence preferred).

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • SAFe certification a plus

 

Clearance:  

  • The ability to obtain a government moderate background security clearance or Public Trust 

 

Location:  

  • Remote, USA

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $95,500 to $110,000
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
