Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementation of new indirect rate structures and cost pools
  • Assume hands-on role in creating and maintaining accounting and financial models including development of incurred cost (specifically schedules B, C, and D) and cost impact assessment models
  • Complete financial analysis tasks to support strategic decisions
  • Assist with improvement, transformation, and documentation of financial processes
  • Work closely with program and departmental leadership to create plans of attack focused on increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing financial waste
  • Complete Ad Hoc projects and analysis as needed

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting and/or project control in the federal government contracts space
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Knowledge and experience with indirect rate creation, budget modeling, forecasting, and dashboard reporting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
  • Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, and Apptio preferred
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk Position Sensitivity and Background Investigation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across matrixed organizations
  • Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business dicipline is required, and 5 + yeasrs work experience
  • Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (13 years total)

 

Clearance: 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation 

 

Remote:

  • Remote, USA
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST)

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $80,00 to $110,000
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
