TISTA Science & Technology Corporation is seeking an exceptional UX Designer to play an important role in the redesign of a current nationwide system used to investigate fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid world.

This is a high paced and fast-moving project with the standing goal of pivoting to better ideas as research uncovers them.

You should be excited to:

• Prepare and facilitate a range of exploratory user research activities, both asynchronously and collaboratively, to support the design process
• Lead colleagues in the analysis of data in order to generate insights that drive ideation and evaluation of current processes
• Document and communicate and user requirements in the form of research findings
• Analyze existing forms and workflows and reinterpret them for the digital space
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and identify further areas of research
• Illustrate results through the creative use of diagramming and low fidelity workspaces
• Collaborate and work with the teams across the project to ensure consistency in meeting the users’ needs

• Expertise in conducting software related user research and analyzing results
• Interest in talking to users and facilitating research sessions
• Experience in translating findings into documentation
• Must be eligible to hold a Public Trust government security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be eligible to hold a Public Trust government security clearance

Preferred:

• Degrees in human behavior, usability, or human computer interaction
• Visual design experience
• Experience in the Federal Government contracting workspace
• Experience in health care or medical related fields
