  • Hands on engineering lead who will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation strategy and implementing test automation frameworks using modern automation tools and technologies 
  • Leverage testing best practices to develop test automation frameworks, such as data driven testing, BDD, modularization, and developing libraries to improve re-usability  
  • Lead team of test automation engineers to learn and adopt the automation framework 
  • Develop test automation to support various testing types, including functional testing (smoke, interface/API, system, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance) and non-functional testing (performance, accessibility/508, security, and reliability)  
  • Ensure maximization of test automation across all testing types 
  • Responsible for ensuring that VA Testing standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the process of the project's life-cycle 
  • Work with Product Owner and the feature teams to determine test types that should be run before a release/sprint is deployed 
  • Participate and operate within an agile software engineering practice to support daily stand-ups, sprint/release planning, retrospectives, and reviews/demos 
  • Provide level of effort for change requests and defects 
  • Support in defect tracking and resolution  
  • Ability to review deliverables and track critical dates of critical milestones 


  • 5+ years of hands on technical experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks 
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, CodeceptJS, and Karate-DSL 
  • Strong knowledge of programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, and Python 
  • Experience leading and guiding team of test automation engineers  
  • VA experience desired but not required 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 



  • The ability to obtain a government security clearance (modest background investigation)
