Position Description: TISTA Science and Technology is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team in Bethesda, MD. The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support and guidance on a variety of hands-on engineering design, integration and maintenance in accordance with HHS/NIH standards.

The Project Coordinator has the responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness of information systems implemented to meet the needs of our clients. The Project Coordinator will work with PMO staff and other stakeholders on requirement documents or the creation of new business process documentation developed. The Project Coordinator will be expected to provide direct support to  leadership and other staff members, external contractors, and the overall project teams.


  • Communicate effectively with clients to convey digital standards, best practices, and help set and manage the client’s expectations
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among the team
  • In close collaboration with the project leadership and the customer, ensure the project is in continuous contractual compliance (e.g., Service Level Agreements, reporting requirements, etc.) as well as meeting or exceeding agreed upon client commitments
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions to operations challenge
  • Analyze infrastructure support needs, evaluate technical solutions, and apply industry best practices to provide responsive and effective solutions that align with customer goals and mission


  • 2-4 years of related experience in a project management specific role within IT departments and management consulting organizations
  • Depths in at least one of the following areas: SDLC, business intelligence, business strategy
  • Agile or SCRUM experience



  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience


  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
