As the QA Analyst, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of software developers, engineers, and other IT professionals to support, maintain, and enhance the NIH mission. You will join a highly collaborative team focused on delivering high value to its customers. You will work in close cooperation with other developers, engineers, managers and product owners on project teams, as well as work independently on smaller efforts with limited direct supervision.

 

This person must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and 100% client-focused, with a continuing passion for your profession.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a quality assurance team
  • Develop and maintain quality management system documentation
  • Develop corporate standards and procedures based on industry best practices
  • Develop and deploy quality metrics and associated dashboards
  • Analyze quality data and develop plans for continuous improvement
  • Plan and implement an internal audit program
  • Develop and deliver quality and process related training to corporate support and project teams
  • Work with project teams to enhance processes and outcomes and support their achievement of CMMI maturity levels
  • Report regularly on progress toward goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience implementing quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Dxpertise in developing quality measures, collecting and analyzing quality and related data, and recommending actions to effect continuous improvement
  • Experience in planning and implementing internal audit activities
  • Direct experience supporting ISO certification activities at the organization level (preferred)
  • Works well independently and with minimal supervision
  • Works well in a team environment
