    TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team.


    The Director of Human Resources oversees all aspects of Human Resources services, policies, and processes for the organization. The Human Resources Director reports to the CEO and serves on the Senior Leadership team while advising and supporting company managers in the areas of performance management, employment law, compliance, and employee engagement.



    • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Enhancing the performance management appraisal system, tools and resources to drive high performance
    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management
    • Overseeing company compensation and benefits administration, including merit increases, open enrollment, benefits communication, and vendor management
    • Work with Senior Leadership to develop succession plan and corporate culture initiatives
    • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
    • Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
    • Nurturing a positive working environment
    • Assessing training needs to implement and monitor training programs
    • Analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
    • Ensuring organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all employment matters


    • 5+ years of Human Resources Management experience
    • 10+ years of a broad based professional experience with at least 8+ years in all aspects of Human Resources
    • Strong Human Resources Generalist background
    • People-oriented and results driven
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of HR best practices
    • Must be knowledgeable of HR systems and databases and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


    • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or advanced HR courses preferred
    • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential
