    TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Security Coordinator to join our growing team.

     

    The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a high-performing team of technical and business experts on a Federal project.  The Security Coordinator is in a client-facing security liaison role tasked with supporting office operations and providing general administrative support to employee and subcontractor team members as needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Primary liaison to the client responsible for receiving, processing, coordinating and completing security needs from various stakeholders group within the client’s organization
    • Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for receipt and safeguarding of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
    • Communicate accurate and timely recommendations on business and scheduling related risks or actions required with solid attention to detail
    • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner through alternative solutions or group problem solving with strong attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to overall client satisfaction
    • Use security systems and database applications to process staff and visitors within assigned facilities and systems
    • Provision visitor access control functions in support of high visibility meetings/events, as needed
    • Provide outstanding customer service/support; projecting professionalism and communication skills at all times

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in administrative or project/security coordination role (Federal Government environment is preferred)
    • Organizational abilities and prioritization skills are at a premium in this position, but just as important will be the applicant's ability to convey accurate information and to adapt to changing conditions
    • Skilled in time and task management
    • Must be able to write clearly and informatively with the ability to read and interpret written information
    • Strong interpersonal communications skills are required to interact with customers and team members, facilitate discussions and exercise professional judgment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio)

    Education:

    •  Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience

    Clearance: 

    • MBI Clearance which entails a detailed income tax and credit review
