    TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a motivated Project Manager to facilitate the development of working software aimed at improving the scope and quality of state-reported Medicaid data. Additionally, this person will support the delivery team by facilitating project planning, sprint/release planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and ultimately serve and coach the Product Owner and Development Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the development team in delivering the product increment
    • Organize and facilitate Scrum events under minimal supervision
    • Integrate Agile principles into team practices and work products
    • Ensure the development team maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery
    • Ensure project goals and responsibilities are clearly communicated and understood by team members
    • Facilitate progress toward team goals and proactively identify and remove impediments to the development team's progress using formal channels (including escalation if required)
    • Serve as a servant-leader/coach to the Scrum team and commit to continuous improvement (i.e., code quality, delivery, processes, etc.) and collaboration
    • Support the Product Owner in maintaining and refining the product backlog
    • Utilize team feedback/metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement as necessary
    • Track and communicate status/progress to the team, management, and stakeholders ­ensuring it accurately reflects current state

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of hands-­on Scrum Master experience (i.e., coaching, backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, etc.) supporting multiple projects 
    • Software development and/or Project Management experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Experience in a fast-paced and collaborative development environment (preferably in large/enterprise-wide experience)
    • Experience using agile project management and collaboration tools (Confluence, JIRA)
    • Strong analytical, problem ­solving, time ­management and influencing skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Detailed understanding of backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
    • Passionate about creating a collaborative work environment and delivering value-added solutions which help improve beneficiary quality of care
    • Self-motivation and ability to work proactively under minimal supervision are required

    Education

    • Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

    Certifications

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred 
    • SAFe Agilist Certification preferred
