    TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our growing team.

    The Program Coordinator will work with the Program Manager to support our client’s objective to implement multiple sub-programs and projects of different degrees of complexity. The candidate will successfully work with a team to further the client’s efforts through strategic planning and implementation activities to monitor delivery deadlines, quality gates, and production release readiness.  The candidate should have excellent research, writing, communication and organizational skills.  The preferred candidate will know VA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established VA governance, security and architecture standards.  Experience with agile methodology, business process re-engineering, process improvement and organizational change is a plus.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze Program/Project requirements and risk, as well as identify gaps in compliance processes
    • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders at all levels to document program requirements for successful and VIP compliant delivery of software products
    • Capture data, collect relevant documentation and participate in reporting requirements
    • Provide solutions to accomplish overall operational efficiency and organizational change (as needed) to ensure successful project delivery
    • Develop and demonstrate a strong understanding of interdependencies at a functional and technical level for each program/project in scope; document findings in writing and visually using appropriate graphics or dashboard approach
    • Demonstrate knowledge of process redesign, performance measurement, strategic planning, and risk management and provide recommendations on process improvements
    • Meet weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly reporting requirements including dashboard and repository updates
    • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis; use this information to evaluate effectiveness of managing and operating programs
    • Provide impact analysis following changes in governance model, security and enterprise architecture requirements documenting subsequent changes to timeline and level of effort
    • Participate in quality reviews
    • Demonstrate exceptional written, oral and analytical skills

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience as a consultant supporting a federal client, preferably VA
    • Ability to perform research, analysis, and risk management in a team environment
    • Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement
    • Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints and minimal oversight
    • Knowledge of government privacy processes and policies, and governance models
    • Must have experience using MS Office Suite, including MS Project, MS Visio, and Rational Tool Suite
    • Must have experience managing and using SharePoint
    • Honorably discharged US Military Veteran (preferred)
    • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (preferred)

     

    Education/Certification:

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (preferred)
    • Scaled agile framework (SAFe) (preferred)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
    • ITIL (preferred)

    Clearance:

    • Ability to obtain a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance
