Training Developer

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a professional and highly technical person to develop and implement Privacy training and support for our VA client. The Training Developer will assist in developing, writing, and creating training material in support for the Office of Privacy's Communication and Outreach program.



  • Develop, write and create training materials, training plans, and training programs for an IT organization, program or project
  • Develop training materials for various presentation media, such as written, visual and web based classes
  • Conduct training programs and present training materials as needed
  • Conducting evaluations; analyzing and identifying communication and skill requirements
  • Perform training related administrative tasks
  • Developing and maintaining training databases
  • Must have experience consulting or implementing privacy activities that cover most aspects of the Privacy program


  • Strong understanding of and experience with VA health programs and project management process
  • Knowledge of government privacy processes
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and data management skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints, and minimal oversight


  • AA or 2 Years of Technical School in related field
  • 3 years of experience in Enterprise-level Privacy Programs
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education


Clearance Requirement: Ability to clear a NACI
