Responsibilities

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Functional Business Analyst to analyze user needs to determine functional requirements at it relates to working with the product, engineering and legal teams about privacy laws and best practices in a wide variety of healthcare and financial systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience working with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems
  • Must have experience in having primary responsibility for individual projects and systems. 
  • Must have experience in testing functionality and matching to requirements.
  • Must have experience consulting or implementing privacy activities that cover most aspects of the Privacy program.
  • Specialized experience in privacy and security process analysis, specifically including compliance documentation drafting and analysis, including
  • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
  • Privacy Threshold Assessments (PTA)
  • System of Records Notices (SORNs)
  • Computer Matching Agreements (CMA)
  • Exposure to privacy Maturity Models, process redesign, performance measurement and management, strategy, risk management, and privacy and security operations.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Enterprise-level Privacy Programs
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Strong understanding of and experience with VA health programs and project management process
  • PTA/PIA/SORN/CMA experience
  • Knowledge of government privacy processes
  • Knowledge of IT systems and the SA&A process
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and data management skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints, and minimal oversight
  • Consulting experience preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Related Field

 

Clearance Requirements: Ability to pass a NACI
